Ingredients to make Sabudana Khichadi with added Proteins.

  • sago 3 katori ( soaked overnight )
  • Mixed Sprouts 1 katori
  • potato chopped finely 3
  • Grated coconut fresh/ dried 1/2 katori
  • Green chilli finely chopped -3 or according to taste
  • Curry patta few.
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice of 1 lemon
  • curd 2 tbsp
  • sugar 2 tsp ( optional ).
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make Sabudana Khichadi with added Proteins.

  1. Heat oil in a pan and stir fry Sprouts till golden brown. Transfer on an absorbant paper and let cool.
  2. Add salt to Sabudana ,add curd too and mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a big non stick pan . Add cumin and green chillies, add curry patta. . As chilli gets fried well add Chopped Potatoes, salt and shallow fry. After it gets cooked add sago.
  4. Saute and mix well. Add coconut powder and lime juice. Mix , add sugar. Now add Sprouts mix well and turn the gas off.
  5. Serve hot with garnish of coriander leaves and a hot cup of Tea / Coffee.

My Tip:

Soak Sago in a minimum required quantity to prevent getting sticky. After adding Sago cook on medium flame stirring continuously
