Ingredients to make Spicy Baby Potatoes Coated with Shredded Cauliflower

  • 7-8 baby potatoes
  • 2 moti elaichi
  • 2-3 choti elaichi
  • 4-5 whole Kali mirch
  • 3-4 laung
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 inch piece of javitri
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp sabut dhaniya
  • 4-5 dry red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri mirch powder
  • 1 tsp amchur powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 3 Tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 cup shredded cauliflower
  • coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make Spicy Baby Potatoes Coated with Shredded Cauliflower

  1. Wash and peel the baby potatoes. Slit them in between and keep aside.
  2. Now take a pan and dry roast all the whole spices.
  3. Grind them. Mix haldi powder, Salt, amchur, kashmiri mirch much in it.
  4. Now fill this Masala powder in each potato. If you have some masala left with you, don't worry. You can add this masala later
  5. Now heat oil in a wok. Add shredded cauliflower. Add baby potatoes and remaining masala if left. sprinkle a little salt over it. stir and cover it with a lid
  6. Let it cook on a low flame till the potatoes are cooked properly. keep checking..
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.

My Tip:

You can add lemon juice to it for a tangy flavour..
