Tasty Kebabs

Ingredients to make Tasty Kebabs

  • 100 grams Nutrela soya granules
  • 100 grams Channa dal
  • 1 Stick Cinnamon
  • 6 Green Cardamoms
  • 10 cloves
  • 2 medium sized onions chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons chopped ginger
  • 2 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 4 Dried red chillies
  • 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bunch of coriander leaves chopped.
  • Breadcrumbs as required
  • 3 tablespoons maida to make slurry
  • Oil for frying

How to make Tasty Kebabs

  1. Put all the ingredients except oil, bread crumbs and maida , into a pressure cooker and add just one and half cup of water.
  2. Put on heat for two whistles.
  3. Cool and open the pressure cooker to check if there is any water. If there is water then put on heat and dry it out.
  4. Mash well to make a smooth paste. This can be done in a food processor or a grinding stone.
  5. Mix in the chopped green coriander.
  6. Now make small balls from the soya mixture and flatten them to make kebabs. Arrange in a plate .
  7. Make a slurry with the Maida and water. Dip each kebab in this slurry and roll in the breadcrumbs.
  8. Shallow fry in hot oil till light brown and crisp.
  9. Serve hot with salad .
