Chicken Tikka

Ingredients to make Chicken Tikka

  • 250 g boneless chicken (bite size pieces)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger-garlic
  • 1/4 tsp all spice powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp tikka masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • A pinch yellow food color
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil for shallow fry

How to make Chicken Tikka

  1. The first step is Put it all together .Simply put everything in a Bowl and mix together everything
  2.  Let the chicken marinate for at least 6 hours or put all this yogurt mixture and chicken into a zip-lock bag and refrigerate overnight .
  3. Then after marination.heat a pan without oil or without greasing.and put all the yogurt and chicken into the pan and cover to cook over a low flame until chicken is done and the masala is coated to the chicken pieces.
  4. Now heat another pan and add two tbsp oil in it for shallow frying and put the cooked chicken in the oil.shallow fry for 5 minutes or more.until chicken is nicely golden in color.
  5. Ready to serve.drain out excess oil on a paper 
  6. Serve with salad, dips, ketchup, or any sauce of your choice
