Ingredients to make Dates and Ragi Pancakes for Winter

  • Deseeded dates - 10-12
  • Ragi - 1 cup
  • Grated jaggery - 1/2 cup
  • Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • oil

How to make Dates and Ragi Pancakes for Winter

  1. Soak ragi for 4 hours.
  2. Soak dates in water one hour before grinding.
  3. Blend all the ingredients together. Add very little water while grinding. The batter should be thick.
  4. Heat a pan. Drizzle a few drops of oil and pour a ladle full of batter. Let the batter spread by itself. Just level it and close the lid.
  5. Flip on the other side and serve hot with a dollop of butter.
