Aloo Vadas

Ingredients to make Aloo Vadas

  • Boiled and mashed potatoes 4
  • chilli garlic and ginger paste 1 tbs
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice 2 lemon
  • Green garlic fine chopped 1tbs
  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbs
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder half tsp
  • sesame seeds 1 tsp
  • Dry coriander powder 1 tbs
  • cashew nut chopped 2 tab
  • raisins 15
  • For garnish
  • pomegranate pearls
  • Chopped onions
  • Namkin sev
  • Some chopped coriander leaves
  • For batter -
  • besan flour 2 bowl
  • salt to taste
  • Ajwain 1/2 tsp
  • Soda 2 pinch
  • water as require
  • oil to deep fry

How to make Aloo Vadas

  1. In bowl add besan salt ajwain and add water.
  2. Make a thick batter for vada and keep aside.
  3. In a bowl take boiled and mashed potatoes add all the masala ingredients.
  4. Add sugar salt and lemon juice in balance. taste and add cashew raisins also and mix well.
  5. In last add coriander leaves and pomegranate pearls and mix all.
  6. Now add soda into the batter and mix it well.
  7. Make a lemon size balls from the mixture.
  8. Heat oil and dip balls into the batter and deep fry till golden brown in colour.
  9. In the end, garnish with pearls onions and sev.
