ABOUT My Tempura Onionfry Garden RECIPE

Tangy Onionfry flowers made in sprite batter . Serve with cream chilli mayo sauce.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Onions big
  2. Oil for frying
  3. For batter -
  4. 1 cup all purpose flour
  5. 1/4 cup Corn starch
  6. 1/2 tsp Oregano
  7. 1/2 tsp paprika
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 2 Garlic clove -minced
  10. 1/2 black pepper
  11. 1 cup sprite (chilled and as per requirement)
  12. For seasoning -
  13. 1 cup Flour
  14. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  15. 1 tsp garlic powder
  16. 1 tsp paprika
  17. Salt to taste
  18. For Sauce -
  19. 1/2 cup Cream Cheese
  20. 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  21. 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  22. 1/2 oregano
  23. Salt to taste
  24. 1/2 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Peel & wash onions. Cut Onion in flower shape and keep in water.
  2. Heat oil in a deep frying pan
  3. Mix all seasoning ingredients in a serving place.
  4. Mix all the ingredients for batter in a big bowl add sprite slowly.
  5. First, open all Petals of Onion flowers and season with seasoning flour. Shake off excess flour and dip in batter
  6. Remove excess by shaking well and again coat with seasoning flour.
  7. Now deep fry one onion at a time until crispy golden brown.
  8. Remove from oil and keep on kitchen towel.
  9. For sauce mix all sauce ingredients and serve hot with cream chilli Mayo sauce.
