Palak Kofta /Spinach Meatballs

Ingredients to make Palak Kofta /Spinach Meatballs

  • Mince meat 250 grams
  • onion 1 chopped
  • garlic Cloves 5-6
  • ginger 1 inch
  • Blanched spinach 1/2 cup
  • coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  • mint leaves 1-2 tablespoon
  • Green chilli 3-4
  • peppercorns 4-5
  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • egg 1
  • gram flour 1 teaspoon
  • Boiled potato 1
  • salt
  • oil to shallow fry

How to make Palak Kofta /Spinach Meatballs

  1. Boil the potato ,grate or mash it and keep aside .
  2. Blanch a small bunch of spinach and puree it
  3. In a grinder add onion ,green chilli,mint ,coriander leaves ,black pepper ,and grind .
  4. Then add mince ,garam masala powder and salt .
  5. And mix till combined
  6. Add puree ,egg ,boiled potato ,gram flour ,lime juice as needed and mix well .
  7. Keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes .
  8. Heat oil to shallow fry
  9. Once the oil is hot add kofta and shallow fry on medium flame till done .
  10. Serve it with ketchup or any dip

My Tip:

You can deep fry or fry these in appe pan .
