ABOUT Chinese Bread Pakoda RECIPE

Pan fry bread pakoda, my new innovation inspired by my kid.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. for covering -
  2. Bread slices - 4
  3. Cheese slices - 2
  4. Gram flour 1/2 cup
  5. salt as per taste
  6. For stuffing -
  7. Onion - 1 finely chopped
  8. Carrot -1 small finely chopped
  9. Green capsicum 1 - small finely chopped
  10. Soya sauce -2 teaspoons
  11. Tomato sauce 3 teaspoons
  12. Vinegar - 2 teaspoons
  13. Black pepper as per taste
  14. salt as per taste
  15. Cottage cheese (paneer) 1/4 cup
  16. Oil 4 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Take a pan heat 1 table spoon oil in it.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  3. Add onion and saute for a minute.
  4. Now add chopped carrot , capsicum, salt and black pepper and saute for 5 minutes.
  5. Add tomato sauce, Soya sauce and vinegar and mix well. Then switch off the gas.
  6. Now add grated cottage cheese and mix well.This is stuffing of bread pakoda.
  7. For covering -
  8. Take gram flour in a bowl and add little waterand make a thick batter.
  9. Add salt as per taste in the batter.
  10. For making chinese bread pakoda -
  11. Take a bread slice apply stuffing in it.
  12. Keep a cheese slice.
  13. Now cover the cheese slice with second piece of bread.
  14. Then cover both side of bread with gram flour batter.
  15. Now take a pan, heat a table spoon oil and place the stuffed bread in it.
  16. Pan fry bread pakoda till golden brown from both side.
  17. Serve it with sauce or chutney.
