Schezwan Mozarella Sticks

Ingredients to make Schezwan Mozarella Sticks

  • Mozzarella cheese - 200 gm
  • Red chillies - 6 to 8
  • shallots - 5
  • garlic pods - 5
  • Celery/ spring onion chopped - 1 tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tbsp
  • sugar - 1/8 tbsp
  • salt - 1/8 tbsp
  • Soy sauce - 1/8 tbsp
  • vinegar - 1/8 tbsp
  • maida - 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • oil for frying
  • Breadcrumbs for coating

How to make Schezwan Mozarella Sticks

  1. For schezwan mix - Blend together red chillies, shallots, garlic pods, salt, pepper, sugar, soya sauce, celery and vinegar with very little water
  2. Add maida and cornflour to the schezwan mix. Cut cheese into bars/ sticks and coat with the mix and then double coat with breadcrumbs
  3. Refrigerate 20 minutes and deep fry for not more than 30 seconds
