Eggless Apple Walnut Cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Apple Walnut Cake

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh malai
  • 2 tbsp milk powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tap baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tap cinnamon powder
  • 1 apple
  • 10-15 walnuts
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder(for dusting on top)
  • Milk(as required)

How to make Eggless Apple Walnut Cake

  1. Peel, core and chop the apple into pieces. Chop the walnuts also into pieces.
  2. In a bowl mix condensed milk and malai
  3. Sift together flour, milk powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon powder.
  4. Add all the dry ingredients to the wet ones
  5. Add milk to adjust the consistency.
  6. In a greased pan,put half of the mixture and spread apple and walnuts. Put the remaining half and top with more apple and walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon powder
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree C for 35-40 mins or till the skewer comes out clean.
  8. Demould when little cool.

My Tip:

You can use oil instead of malai in the recipe. You can use white granulated sugar instead of brown sugar.
