Watermelon Shots

Ingredients to make Watermelon Shots

  • 2 cup chopped watermelons ( without seeds)
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp black salt
  • 1-2 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • Scooped watermelon balls for garnishing
  • 1/2 cup chilled water
  • 8-10 toothpicks

How to make Watermelon Shots

  1. Cut a ripe red watermelon into half and now from one half, scoop out 8-10 watermelon balls using small fruit scooper and keep aside
  2. Cut rest of the watermelon into pieces ( ensure to remove seeds) and keep it in refrigator to chill for sometime
  3. In a mixer juice jar, add watermelon pieces, mint leaves, black salt, sugar (optional), lemon juice and water blend it
  4. Now strain the fresh juice using a big strainer in a bowl
  5. Pour juice into shot glasses. Now insert a toothpick in the center of each watermelon ball
  6. Place these on the top of each shot glass. Enjoy.

My Tip:

In case you are not able to remove all seeds, don't worry place watermelon pieces in a jar and instead of grinding on high speed use a blitz (flash) button of mixie. The seeds won't grind and can be strained.
