Ingredients to make Amla Jam

  • 1kg amla
  • 1kg gur
  • cardamom powder 1tsp
  • water 1 liters
  • ghee
  • honey

How to make Amla Jam

  1. First, wash amla and put it in pressure cooker and cook for 5-6 whistles
  2. Once it cools down, take out the seeds out of amla and grind it to a fine paste
  3. In a pan take water and gur and prepare syrup
  4. Add amla in it and cook till becomes thick. Add ghee and honey
  5. Once it thickens like jam, turn off the heat. Cool and store in a bottle
  6. It can be used for upto 6-8 months
