Ingredients to make Eggless Tutty Fruity cake

  • 2 cups maida
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp pineapple or vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup coloured tutti frutti

How to make Eggless Tutty Fruity cake

  1. In a bowl, sift maida, baking powder and baking soda thrice. Take out 3-4 tbsp in another bowl and mix the tutti frutti in it and keep aside.
  2. In another bowl, beat the curd and the sugar well until they are fluffy. Add the butter and essence and beat again.
  3. Mix the flour mixture into it little at a time and keep folding it well into the wet ingredients.
  4. Add the tutti frutti and fold again. Bake at 180 degrees C for 30-35 minutes in a butter paper lined tin.
  5. Slice when cold
