Ingredients to make Broccoli, Paneer And Cheese Sunflower Pie

  • 2 cup maida
  • 2 tsp dry active yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm milk
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Dried herbs of your choice (oregano, basil, rosemary, parsley)
  • 1/4 cup oil or butter
  • 1 cup grated broccoli
  • 1 cup grated paneer
  • 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • salt and pepper as per taste

How to make Broccoli, Paneer And Cheese Sunflower Pie

  1. Activate the yeast by mixing in warm milk and sugar.
  2. In a bowl, take the flour, herbs, and oil and mix well. Make a well in the center and pour the activated yeast mixture. Knead well for 7-8 minutes by stretching and rolling and form a dough.
  3. Keep the dough in a greased bowl covered with wet muslin cloth till it doubles in size.
  4. Make the stuffing by combining grated broccoli, paneer and cheese and salt and pepper.
  5. Punch the dough and knead again. Divide into two halves. Flatten each like chapatis.
  6. Place one on a butter paper lined baking tray and grease it well with butter. Place some filling in the centre and the rest in the form of a circle, leaving some space on the sides.
  7. Place the other chapati on top and press gently on all sides with wet hands to seal the ends. Seal and crimp with a fork.
  8. Place a small bowl over the center filling and start cutting the rest into parts. Twist each part on the same side and then remove the bowl. It becomes a flower now!
  9. Keep it covered for half an hour for the second rise and then bake at 180 degrees C for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
