Fruity Panna Cotta

Ingredients to make Fruity Panna Cotta

  • For cherry layer:
  • 1/4 cup - fresh cherry pureed
  • 2 tbsps - fresh cream
  • 2 tbsps - milk
  • 2 - tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp - agar agar powder
  • For vanilla layer:
  • 1 cup - cream
  • 1/2 cup - milk
  • 1/4 cup - powdered sugar
  • 3 to 4 drops - vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp - agar agar powder
  • For mango layer:
  • 1/4 cup - mango pureee
  • Fresh Cream - 2 tbsp
  • Milk - 2 tbsp
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • 1tsp - agar agar powder
  • To garnish - cherry sauce and cream

How to make Fruity Panna Cotta

  1. For the cherry layer: Boil the cream and milk with sugar in a deep non-stick pan.
  2. Set aside to cool and come down to room temperature. Mix the agar powder in four tsps of luke warm water and stir it into the milk.
  3. For vanilla layer: Add milk and cream together and heat till it simmers. Add the agar powder to 2 tbsp of luke warm water, dissolve and set aside.
  4. Let them cool to room temperature. Layer with this mixture in the four bowls of set cherry panna cotta layer.
  5. For the mango layer: Boil the cream and milk with sugar in a deep non stick pan.
  6. Put the mango mixture onto the 4 serving bowls over set vanilla layer.
  7. Place them in the refrigerator to set for 3 - 4 hours.
  8. When set, garnish with cherry sauce and cream as shown in the image. Serve chilled immediately.
