Dark chocolate and raisins are always one of the best combinations. Thought of using both in a cake and specially Christmas cake. Tempting and delicious cake recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour - 1 1/2 cup
  2. Sugar -3/4 Cup
  3. Coco Powder - 1/4 cup
  4. Grated Chocolate 1/2 dairy milk
  5. Lukewarm Milk 1/4 cup
  6. Curd - 1/4 cup
  7. Raisins dipped in apple juice (canned) 24 hours before the preparation
  8. Oil 1/4 cup
  9. Baking powder 1 tbsp
  10. Baking soda 1 tbsp
  11. Nutella for spreading
  12. Sugar Sparkles 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Soak the raisins in one cup apple juice 24 days before baking the cake.
  2. Next day, mix the all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, coco powder in a pan.
  3. Add oil and curd and mix well. Now add lukewarm milk in it and make a runny batter with it
  4. Now strain the raisins and add into the batter. Keep mixing until it forms a perfect runny mixture
  5. In a pressure cooker, make a thick base of salt and let it be heated on low flame for 5 minutes.
  6. Grease an aluminum cake mold with oil. Add the batter into the mold.
  7. Put into the pressure cooker and place it on the salt layer.
  8. Take out the whistle of the cooker lid. Now place the lid on cooker and close it normally
  9. Bake for 30 minutes first on medium flame. After that. check the cake with tester stick, if it is still sticking to it then bake it for 10 minutes more, If not then turn off the flame
  10. When it passes tester check, take out with the help of gloves and allow it to cool.
  11. Demould it after 10 minutes
  12. Spread nutella on the top and sprinkle sugar sparkles on it
  13. Cut it into pieces. Serve
