Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup- chickpea flour (besan)
  2. 2 tsp-olive oil
  3. 1 tbsp- flax seeds
  4. 3 tbsp- cold water
  5. 1 pinch -sugar
  6. 1/2 tsp- cumin seeds or more
  7. 1/4 tsp- carom seeds or ajwain
  8. 2 big pinches- baking soda
  9. salt as per taste
  10. Red chilly flakes as desired

Instructions

  1. Preheat microwave convection at 180 degrees for 6 minutes.
  2. Roast flax seeds. Allow them to cool and then grind them to powder.
  3. Mix flax powder with all other dry ingredients.
  4. Add oil and rub the flour with hands.
  5. Add cold water 1 tsp at a time. We need to combine the ingredients into dough. It will be a stiff dough.
  6. Roll out the dough into thin chapati and cut into desired shapes.
  7. Place evenly on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
  8. Allow the crackers to cool on a cooling rack and munch on them.
