Whole Wheat Tutti Frutti Cake

Ingredients to make Whole Wheat Tutti Frutti Cake

  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  • Tutti frutti 2 tablespoon
  • salt a pinch
  • Warm water 3/4 cup
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • vinegar 1/2 tablespoon
  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  • olive oil 3 tablespoon

How to make Whole Wheat Tutti Frutti Cake

  1. Sprinkle little flour over tutti fruit and mix well. Keep it aside
  2. Grease and dust a 7 inch loaf tin and keep aside
  3. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade for 10 minutes
  4. Sift the flour, baking soda and salt 2 to 3 times
  5. Take warm water in a bowl and add sugar to it.
  6. Whisk it nicely till sugar dissolves
  7. Add in the vanilla essence and oil. Mix well
  8. Add vinegar to it and mix well
  9. To this mixture add the sifted flour and fold gently
  10. Finally add the tutti frutti and fold it.
  11. Transfer the batter to the greased tin
  12. Tap the tin gently on the floor to remove bubbles from it
  13. Bake it in over for 30 to 35 minutes at 180 degrees centigrade.
  14. Insert the tooth pick or knife in the centre of the cake to check for doneness
  15. Inserted tooth pick should come out clean
  16. Cool it completely before cutting
