Oats Apple Srikhand

Ingredients to make Oats Apple Srikhand

  • 250 grams curd
  • 1/4 bowl chopped apples
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cooked oats
  • 1 tablespoon rose syrup diluted in little milk
  • 1 tablespoon chilled milk
  • 1 tablespoon ground sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soaked, peeled and chopped almonds
  • 1 tablespoon fruit jam

How to make Oats Apple Srikhand

  1. Place the curd in a lined piece of muslin cloth over a strainer in a deep vessel
  2. And tie it up to make a bundle to hang for 2 to3 hrs till the water drips and curd becomes thick
  3. Transfer it in a bowl and keep it in the refrigerator for around 4 to 5 hrs
  4. Add honeyin thick curd and mix
  5. Then add cooked oats and mix
  6. Now add rose syrup and mix gently
  7. Pour chilled milk and adjust the consistency
  8. Add sugar accordingly
  9. At last sprinkle cardamom powder and essence
  10. Pour rose syrup in to the glass from all sides Then put few pieces of apples
  11. Then pour shrikand
  12. Garnish with chopped almonds and a dot of jam
  13. Again keep it in refrigerator for few mins Serve chilled

My Tip:

Hang the curd at least for 2 to 3 hours
