Strawberry Cake

Ingredients to make Strawberry Cake

  • 125 gms flour /maida
  • 200gm condensed milk
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 12-15 fresh strawberries some sliced and some whole
  • sugar syrup for soaking
  • 1 cup whipping cream ( or as required)
  • 100gms Unsalted butter

How to make Strawberry Cake

  1. First seive all dry ingredients and keep aside
  2. Take a bowl add butter and condensed milk and beat till it becomes light free flow
  3. Then add vanilla essence to it you can add even strawberry essesnce to it
  4. Then add half batch of dry ingredients to it and fold very lightly then again add half of the remaining one and fold again
  5. Then add club soda about 1/2 cup but not at once little by little the consistency should be a bit flowy
  6. Grease a tin by oil/butter and dust maida to it and pour the batter in it and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degreeC for 25-30 minutes
  7. After the cake is done let it cool down completely then cut the cake horizontally into three slice
  8. Keep one slice on a board, soak with sugar syrup apply whipped cream to it you can even add small piece of strawberry to it then same way apply other two slices of cake then apply whipped cream properly and decorate with slices of strawberries and even you can keep whole strawberry as shown in the picture

My Tip:

If you are adding fresh strawberry in the cake then finish it off within two days as strawberries are sometimes sour so the cake might spoil if kept outside. Or, store in the fridge. It remains good for 3-4 days
