Ingredients to make Lunch (Dhaniya Rice and Hariyali Mushroom Fish)

  • For coriander rice-
  • Cooked rice half cooked
  • coriander 1 cup
  • ginger 1 inch
  • garlic 4 Cloves
  • Green chilli as per your taste
  • salt
  • mustard 1/4 tsp
  • chana dal 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric 1 pinch
  • Dry red chilli 2
  • oil
  • For fish -
  • Fried fish pieces 5
  • mushroom 6 to 7
  • salt
  • turmeric
  • jeera seed 1 tsp
  • oil
  • Dry red chilli 2

How to make Lunch (Dhaniya Rice and Hariyali Mushroom Fish)

  1. Firstly make a paste with coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, green chilli. Separate this paste in 2 parts. One part would remain the same. For the 2nd part add mushroom in the paste and prepare the paste again by grinding it in mixer.
  2. For coriander rice -
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add dry red chilli, mustard seed and chana dal.
  4. Now add the paste (1st one ), salt, turmeric powder and fry it properly till water evaporates and releases oil.
  5. Now add the rice and mix properly.
  6. Now add coriander leaves and green chilli.
  7. For fish-
  8. Heat oil and add jeera and dry red chilli
  9. Now add the paste (2nd part). When the paste releases oil. Add salt, turmeric and fry.
  10. Add 1 cup water. When the water boils add fried fish pieces and green chilli and cover the pan for a while.
  11. Remove from fire once the fish cooks.
  12. Serve
