Bread Pudding

Ingredients to make Bread Pudding

  • sugar 4 tablespoon
  • Milk 4 cups
  • Cornstarch 1 tablespoon
  • Custard powder 1tablespoon
  • Dry fruits additonal
  • Caramel syrup 2 tablespoon
  • elaichi powder 1 pinch
  • Bread slices

How to make Bread Pudding

  1. First take six bread slices and cut them into pieces. Chop dry fruits
  2. Take a pan and put 4 cups of milk in it
  3. And add cornstarch in milk and put it on medium flame
  4. Then add elaichi powder
  5. Add 4 tablespoons sugar and mix well till sugar dissolves
  6. Then remove from the gas and add bread pieces and dry fruits and mix well with a hand blender
  7. Then take a steamer (idli steamer or cooker or big vessel) and put 4 cups of water and put a stand
  8. Then take a deep bowl, put caramel syrup in it and pour the pudding mixture. Place the bowl on the stand inside the steamer
  9. Steam for 30 mins
  10. Test with a fork. if it comes out clean then take it out cool down and refrigerate it for 30 mins then turn it on the plate upside down
  11. Serve chilled
