Ingredients to make Rose Infused Cranberry Pound cake

  • flour 1 1/2 cup
  • butter 120 gm
  • eggs 3
  • cream cheese 120gm
  • sugar 1cup
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • Dry rose buds 10 to 12
  • Cranberries handful

How to make Rose Infused Cranberry Pound cake

  1. First take the sugar and grind it with the rose buds to make your rose sugar
  2. Soak the cranberries and rose buds with very little water
  3. Cream the butter and cheese till light and creamy
  4. Add sugar and cream it say 5 mins
  5. Add egg 1 at a time and beat well after adding each egg and add the vanilla extract
  6. sieve the flour baking powder baking soda and salt.
  7. Fold the flour in the egg mix till incorporated
  8. fold in the cranberries(drain them first)
  9. Bake at 180 degreesC in a preheated oven for 35 to 40 mins or till its golden brown and skewer inserted comes out clean.
  10. Cool, slice and serve

My Tip:

you can add some lemon zest as well before adding the eggs
