Ingredients to make Chicken 65

  • chicken 400 gms with bone
  • 2 tbsp oil + for deep fry
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 3 Dried red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2-3 green chillies slit
  • 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
  • 6-8 curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1-2 tbsp red chilli paste
  • 1/4 cup chopped spring onions (green)

How to make Chicken 65

  1. Heat sufficient oil in kadai for deep fry.
  2. In a bowl add chicken pieces,ginger garlic paste,1/2 tsp red chilli powder,salt,coriander powder,turmeric powder,cumin powder,pepper powder and lemon juice 1 tbsp.
  3. Marinate and keep for half an hour.
  4. Then add 1 egg into it.
  5. Add corn flour and flour.
  6. In a heated oil deep fry the chicken until crisp and golden.
  7. Now in bowl add in yogurt.
  8. Add remaining chilli powder and little corn flour and mix well.
  9. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok.
  10. Chop dried red chillies diagonally.
  11. In heated oil splutter mustard seeds and add red chillies.
  12. Then add curry leaves,green chillies,chopped ginger,garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  13. Then add chilli paste and yogurt mix.
  14. Cook for 10 min.
  15. Then add the chicken pieces and spring onions.
  16. And toss well.
  17. Serve hot.

My Tip:

You can also make with boneless pieces
