Ingredients to make Mango Sago Pudding / Kheet With Mango Mousse

  • mango puree 3/4 cup
  • soaked sago 1/2 cup
  • condensed milk 1/2 cup
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • saffron strands 7-8
  • cardamom powder 1/4 Tsp
  • dry fruits of your choice- 1/4 cup
  • ghee to roast the dry fruits-2 tbsp
  • few mango pieces and chocolate chips for garnishing.
  • whipping cream 1/2 Cup for mango mousse
  • mango puree 1/2 cup for mango mousse
  • sugar 1/4 cup for mango mousse

How to make Mango Sago Pudding / Kheet With Mango Mousse

  1. soak the sago for at least 2 hours.
  2. Boil the sago in water till it gets soft. then add condensed milk and milk. Stir continuously.
  3. soak the saffron strands in milk and add them to kheer. add mango puree and stir .
  4. can add a little more condensed milk for extra sweetness. let it cool for 5 minutes
  5. meanwhile roast the dry fruits of your choice in the ghee
  6. let the kheer cool down completely and refrigerate for some time so that it gets chilled.
  7. for mango mousse, Whip the cream till it gets stiff peaks
  8. add sugar and mango puree and whip it again till it's well blended . Refrigerate to chill
  9. Assembling/Presentation - In a glass add a layer of sago mango kheer and then add a layer of the mango mousse.
  10. then add a layer of mango pieces. Again add a layer of mango mousse.
  11. Top it with mango pieces, chopped dry fruits and chocolate chips. keep it in the fridge for some time and let it set . serve chilled.
