ABOUT Vanilla Cake Sandwiches.... RECIPE

Popular and always a hit. This is one such thing I make every now and then. Kids just love it. Made instantly in a sandwich toaster and gorgeous in looks as well. Tastes just awesome.

Ingredients Serving: 6

All purpose flour 2 cups
Canola oil 1/2 cup
Sugar 1 cup or little less.
Eggs 4
Vanilla essence a tbsp
Baking Powder 1 Tsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Buttermilk a cup
Tutti frutti 1/2 a cup

Instructions

Mix all the dry ingredients and keep aside. Sift them all twice.
Whisk the eggs along with the sugar and oil. Beat it really well.
Fold in the dry ingredients slowly little by little followed by the buttermilk or milk whichever you desire, but buttermilk is the best.
After you finish folding in the flour mix, add in the tutti frutti also.
Plug in the toaster and pour two icecream scoops full of the batter into each of the groove of the toaster.
Each batch is done in 2 to 3 minutes.
No need of flipping over the cake sandwiches.
Serve them warm at tea-time or as desired.
Children will love to eat these.
