Caramelized Pineapple With Honey Berry Yogurt

ABOUT Caramelized Pineapple With Honey Berry Yogurt RECIPE

This is a favourite dessert of my friends. Fruity, creamy, and frozen yogurt served on juicy, tangy ,sweet and warm pineapple is a delicious dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 slices of pineapple (fresh or canned)
  2. 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  3. 2 teaspoon butter
  4. 1 pinch of cinnamon
  5. For frozen yogurt
  6. 2 cups thick yogurt
  7. 1/2 cup Milk
  8. 3/4 cup berry pulp
  9. 1/4 cup Honey
  10. 1 teaspoon essence
  11. For honey comb -
  12. 1/2 cup Sugar
  13. 100 gm chocolate
  14. For making flowers -
  15. Few slices of fresh pineapple
  16. For making honey bee -
  17. 50 gm chocolate
  18. 2 almonds

Instructions

  1. To caramelise pineapples, Melt the butter and cinnamon in a medium pan over medium heat.Place the pineapple slices over the melted butter in the pan. Sprinkle with the brown sugar.Cook for about 3-4 mins on each side.Continue to baste often to incorporate the flavor of the butter and brown sugar.When cooked, place slices on plates and drizzle some of the sauce. let cool before serving.
  2. Method for frozen yogurt
  3. Place the cranberries and water in a pan. Cook until cranberries become soft stirring occasionally. Simmer for 8-10 minutes and put aside. Let it cool.Sieve it into a bowl, pressing the cranberries with the back of a spoon. transfer to a big big bowl ,add yogurt honey and milk and beat the mixture for 5minutes. Pour it into a container and freeze whole night
  4. For making honey comb
  5. Take 1/2 cup sugar and caramelise it on slow flame. Let it cool for a minute then pour the mixture on honeycomb silicon mould. If u don't have mould you can make chocolate honeycomb by pouring melted chocolate on a bubble sheet.
  6. For making honey bee
  7. Take a heart shaped chocolate (Cadbury shot or any other round chocolate) on top then stick sliced almond with the help of chocolate.
  8. For making Pineapple flowers, cut very thin slices of pineapples put them in a silicon cupcake mold and bake them for 10 min at 200 degrees C
