Ingredients to make Apricot And Tutti Frutti Wholewheat Cookies (Eggless)

  • Whole wheat flour - 1.5 cups
  • Milk Powder - 2 tablespoons
  • Custard powder- 1/2 cup
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • sugar powder- 1 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Tutti Frutti (Raw papaya) - 1/4 cup
  • Finely Chopped apricot - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped Dry fruits(almond,raisin) - 1/4 cup
  • Unsalted Butter - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
  • Milk - 4 tablespoons

How to make Apricot And Tutti Frutti Wholewheat Cookies (Eggless)

  1. Take a big bowl. Add the wholewheat flour,milk powder,custard powder,baking powder,salt . Sieve this so that lumps are not formed.
  2. Now add the chopped apricot,tutti-frutti,chopped dry-fruits to the above dry-ingredients.Mix it properly.
  3. Combine the sifted sugar powder and the softened butter in another deep bowl and whisk well till the mixture turns smooth and no lumps remain.
  4. Add vanilla essence and milk to the above mixture. Mix this well.
  5. Then add all the dry-ingredients and fruit mix little by little. Combine the dough properly.
  6. Shape the dough into a log and cover it with a plastic wrap.Tie the corners to get the proper square shape. Allow it to refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. After half an hour remove the log from the refrigerator and uncover the plastic wrap. Then cut slices (about half an inch thick ) vertically.
  8. Preheat the oven at 180° C for about 10 mins.
  9. Now place the cookies on a greased baking tray and bake in the pre-heated oven at 180° C for (12 - 15 minutes).
  10. When the cookies are baked evenly and turn light brown in color, switch off the oven. Transfer the cookies into a serving plate. Serve with Hot tea/Coffee
  11. Once the cookies are cooled down, store in an airtight container. They can be stored for atleast a week.
