Christmad Angel Wings

Ingredients to make Christmad Angel Wings

  • Refined flour 4 cups ( sieved)
  • salt 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cornflour 2 tablespoons
  • sugar 1/2 cup ( powdered fine )
  • clarified butter 2 tablespoons

How to make Christmad Angel Wings

  1. Mix three cups flour with salt and add just enough water to make a soft dough.
  2. Divide it into six and keep aside.
  3. Mix cornflour and clarified butter to form a paste.
  4. Roll out each portion of the dough into a large,thin chapati.
  5. Apply cornflour paste to one chapati,splinkle a little flour over it and cover with another chapati pressing the edges firmly.
  6. Using both hands turn the double chapati into a long roll and keep aside.
  7. Make two more rolls in this way.
  8. Take a knife and cut each roll into one inch slices.
  9. Sprinkle a little flour on the board, roll out each slice flat, about three inches long.
  10. Roll them out on the dry side and not on the layered paste side.
  11. Deep fry them in hot oil.
  12. Spread them out on a butter paper and sprinkle sugar on either side of each piece.
  13. Cool and store in a tin.
