Ingredients to make Fruit Curry

  • mustard - 2 tsp
  • Dry chillies - 5-6
  • Grated coconut - 1 cup
  • jaggery - 1/2 cup
  • apple - 1 chopped
  • Pineapple - 1/2 cup
  • bananas - 2, chopped
  • mango - 1, chopped
  • grapes - 1/2 cup, halved

How to make Fruit Curry

  1. In a blender, grind mustard and dry chillies, till just coarse.
  2. Add coconut and jaggery and grind along with about 1/2 cup of water. The paste has to be a little coarse not very fine. Keep aside.
  3. Take chopped fruits in a bowl. Add salt and mix. Add the ground paste to this and mix well. Add water if required.
  4. Keep in the refrigerator. It is to be served cold, as a side dish alongside a rice meal.
