How to make Double Deckar Halwa

  1. For apple base
  2. Saute grated apple in a pan on low flame till water gets evaporated
  3. Then add coconut, sugar, ghee and optional items and cook on low flame till the mixture makes a ball without sticking to the pan.
  4. Now transfer it to a greased container
  5. For the second layer, blend chopped pineapple to a coarse mixture. Transfer it to a pan and cook it on low flame till the water gets evaporated.
  6. Now add milk powder sugar ghee and other optional item and cook on low flame till the mixture comes out without sticking to the pan.

My Tip:

Fruits will have natural sugar , so add a little sugar. Always keep on low flame and cook so that it doesn't stick to the bottom. Diabetic people can skip sugar.
