Ingredients to make Home Style Pineapple Jam

  • pineapple 1
  • sugar 1 1/2 to 2 cups
  • lemon juice 1 teaspoon

How to make Home Style Pineapple Jam

  1. Remove outer skin and make 4 vertical pieces, grate the fruit.
  2. Now put the grated fruit in a thick bottomed Kadai and start cooking on low heat
  3. Mix in between to avoid burning
  4. When pineapple is cooked and all the water, which oozed out while cooking has evaporated, add sugar and mix.
  5. Cook until pineapple mixture leaves the sides of the kadai.
  6. Add lemon juice, give one stir and switch off the gas.
  7. Cool the jam and store this in a glass bottle.
