Eggless Plum Cake

Ingredients to make Eggless Plum Cake

  • wheat flour 200 grams
  • Condensed milk 400 grams
  • butter 100 Grams
  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  • baking soda 1 teaspoon
  • Caramel colour 1 teaspoon
  • Tea masala powder 1 tablespoon
  • water 100 ml
  • apple juice 50 ml
  • almond chopped 2 tablespoon
  • cashew nut 2 tablespoons
  • Dry apricot 2 tablespoons
  • Dried cherries 2 tablespoons
  • Dry raisins
  • Prunes 2 to 3
  • Blueberry 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla essence half teaspoon
  • Rum essence 1 teaspoon

How to make Eggless Plum Cake

  1. Chop all dry fruits and soak in apple juice for one day
  2. Grease and dust the baking mould and line up with parchment paper.
  3. Preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes
  4. Mix baking powder and baking soda in wheat flour and sieve 3 times
  5. Beat butter and condensed milk with beater.
  6. Add caramel colour, Rum essence, vanilla essence in butter mixture.
  7. Now add flour mixture in wet ingredients, beat well add water to get proper consistency
  8. Add the dry fruit mix in the batter and mix with well
  9. Pour the batter in the baking mould.
  10. Put the mould in preheated oven and bake the cake at 150 degrees C for 50 minutes
  11. After 50 minutes, turn off the oven. keep the Cake inside the warm oven for next 5 minutes remove it from the oven and cool down for 20 minutes and then unmould the cake.
  12. Once the cake cools, you can soak the cake in fruit juice mixed with wine or rum. Homemade plum Cake is ready for the Christmas celebration.
