Pineapple/ Apple Gulgule Doughnuts

Ingredients to make Pineapple/ Apple Gulgule Doughnuts

  • all purpose flour 1 1/2 cups
  • semolina 1/2 cup
  • eggs 2
  • cardamom powder a tsp
  • cinnamon powder a tsp
  • Vanilla essence a tsp
  • coconut pieces or powder 2 tbsp
  • water 1/4 th cup
  • sugar 5 Tbsp
  • pineapple and apple slices as desired

How to make Pineapple/ Apple Gulgule Doughnuts

  1. Combine all to make a thick batter and keep aside for 20 mins.
  2. Heat the oil on medium flame.
  3. Coat the fruit slices evenly with the batter and slowly side into the hot oil.
  4. Fry them on low to medium flame for the even cooking.
  5. Serve these hot with cream or any syrup of your choice or as it is.

My Tip:

You can choose any fruit of your choice. Mangoes, Apricots, Peaches, Pears, Jackfruit etc.
