Authentic Christmas Cake

Ingredients to make Authentic Christmas Cake

  • maida- 2 cup
  • Ghee or butter- 2 cup
  • eggs- 4
  • sugar- 2 cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tbsp
  • Caramelized brown sugar - 1 tbsp
  • Mix dry fruits (cashew,almonds,raisins,walnuts)- 1cup
  • Mix wet fruits( orange peel,cherries,tutti-fruity,candied ginger) - 1cup
  • All spice mix- 1/2 tbsp

How to make Authentic Christmas Cake

  1. Beat ghee or butter and sugar till it becomes creamy.
  2. Now start adding eggs one by one and keep mixing.
  3. Add vanilla essence and all spice mix.
  4. Add Maida and keep mixing.
  5. Now add all dry and wet fruits.
  6. Give a last mix to batter.
  7. Grease a pan and transfer batter.
  8. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C
  9. Enjoy your delicious cake.

My Tip:

You are free to use your measuring cup. Every oven has its own settings so be careful about it.
