Kadai Dosa

Ingredients to make Kadai Dosa

  • 3 cups of rice
  • 1/2 Cup of urad dal
  • 2 tsp of fenugreek seeds
  • Onion,tomatoes and green chillies
  • oil for cooking
  • salt to taste

How to make Kadai Dosa

  1. Soak rice, urad dal, fenugreek seeds for 3 hrs in water after getting soaked clean it nicely under water 2/3 times Grind it in mixture adding water. The batter should be thick as it done for dosa and add salt to the batter keep it for fermentation for 5/6 hrs in a warm place.
  2. Once the batter is ready after fermentation, add finely chopped onion, tomatoes, green chillies.
  3. Heat 2/3 tbsp oil in the kadai and once the oil gets heated pour 1 1/2 ladle of batter to the kadai and spread it evenly in the round shape keep a plate over kadai while it's getting cooked.
  4. Let it cook till the other side also gets crispy. Cook on medium flame then turn it the other way. keep it for 2 minutes and your dosa is ready.
  5. Serve
