Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Amla 1 kg
  2. Black salt 2 tsp
  3. Sugar 1 kg
  4. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  5. Hing 1/2 tsp
  6. Jeera powder 1 tsp
  7. Dhania powder 1 tsp
  8. Salt 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Steam Amlas for ten minutes or pressure cook for two whistles.
  2. When cool, remove the seeds. Take a big bowl put the amlas in it. Now put in all the ingredients in it.
  3. Mix well and keep under the sun for 3 days. Mix 2 to 3 times in a day. Sugar will become a syrup.
  4. After 3 days strain the syrup. Spread Amlas on a cloth or newspaper. Keep it for 1 or 2 days depending on the heat, let it dry.
  5. Store in a glass container
