ABOUT Plain Salted Homemade Crispy Potato Chips RECIPE

Simple and easy to make. Deep fried crispy potato chips are best enjoyed with a dip of your choice or even the most popular, good old ketchup.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Potatoes peeled and sliced 5 large
  2. Oil for frying
  3. Salt a tbsp
  4. Ice cold water to soak the potato slices

Instructions

  1. Soak the potato slices in ice cold water for 15 mins.
  2. After 15 mins, rinse them with normal water.
  3. Drain and keep them in the colander for the excess water to drip away fully.
  4. Deep fry these on medium to high flame and keep a constant vigil during this process.
  5. Also keep turning them to get fried evenly.
  6. Sprinkle some salt and toss well so that they get coated well with salt.
  7. Serve hot with any dip.
