Gobi Do Pyaja

Ingredients to make Gobi Do Pyaja

  • cauliflower 1 (big)
  • onions 4
  • tomatoes 2
  • tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • green chilly 1
  • garlic 4 flakes
  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • chilly powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powdrer 1 1/2 tsp
  • cardamom crushed
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • cumin seed 1 tsp
  • Fresh cream 1/4 cup

How to make Gobi Do Pyaja

  1. Cut cauliflower in big pieces.Wash it properly
  2. Mix turmeric powder and salt in cauliflower and keep aside for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Take oil in a pan and fry cauliflower .
  4. Cut two onion into halves and open into layer.
  5. Toss the onion into oil till golden and take off .
  6. Add cumin seed, green cardamom ,garlic and onoin to the oil in a deep pan
  7. Add ginger- garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilly powder, tomatoes and tomato puree and salt to it.
  8. Now put cream and cauliflowers . Toss for a while .Add little amount of water, cover the lid and cook for some time.
  9. Take it out in a bowl and sprinkle the fried onion and fried green chilli over it.
