Sweet And Sour Pineapple Chicken

Ingredients to make Sweet And Sour Pineapple Chicken

  • chicken -500 grams (boneless, cut into cubes)
  • Red capsicum -1 (cut into slices )
  • pineapple -1 cup (cut into small chunks)
  • garlic-5 pods (chopped )
  • Sweet chilli sauce-1/4 cup
  • vinegar-1 tablespoon
  • spring onions -1/4 cup (chopped green portion )
  • flour-1.5 cups
  • eggs-2 (beaten)
  • Corn flour-2 teaspoon (mix with 1/4 cup water)
  • oil- 2cups+ 2 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • White pepper -1teaspoon

How to make Sweet And Sour Pineapple Chicken

  1. Add little bit salt to flour and beaten eggs
  2. Take chicken cubes,coat with flour,then dip into the beaten eggs,then again coat with flour
  3. Heat 2 cups oil in a wok,and deep fry all flour coated chicken cubes,keep then on absorbant paper
  4. Heat 2teaspoons oil in a pan, add chopped garlic, fry until light brown colour
  5. Add sliced red capsicum, fry for 2 minutes
  6. Add chopped pineapple,mix and stir fry
  7. Add salt and pepper
  8. Add sweet chilli sauce,mix
  9. Add fried chicken cubes and toss with everything
  10. Add corn flour water mixture
  11. Add 1 teaspoon vinegar, mix and cook for 2 minutes
  12. Switch off the gas,add chopped spring onions
  13. Serve with any Chinese rice
