Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup split green gram
  2. 1/4 cup tuvar dal
  3. 1/4 cup yellow moong daal
  4. 1/2 cup rice
  5. 1/2 cup bottle gourd finely chopped
  6. 1 capsicum finely chopped
  7. 2 tomato finely chopped
  8. 2 onion finely chopped
  9. 1 green chilly finely chhoped
  10. 1/4 cup carrot finely chopped
  11. 1/4 cup Peas
  12. 1 spring curry patta
  13. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  14. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  15. 1 Pinch of asafoetoda
  16. 2 tsp red chilly powder
  17. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  18. 2 tbsp Oil
  19. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash all the pulses and rice 2 to 3 times and keep aside. In a pressure cooker take oil and add mustard seeds and wait to splutter
  2. Now add asafoetida cumin seeds curry pasta and green chillies
  3. Add onion and salute for a few seconds
  4. Add chopped vegetables
  5. Now add all the spices and salute for a minute
  6. Mix rice and all the pulses
  7. Cook for 3 whistles
  8. Serve hot
