Ingredients to make Cabbage Soup

  • 1 Green pepper
  • 1 Large chopped tomato
  • 6 Celery stalks
  • 1 Large chopped onion
  • 1 Big cabbage
  • 4 Cups of water
  • olive oil 1 tsp
  • Hot sauce (to taste) 1/2 tsp

How to make Cabbage Soup

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot and add onion to saute for a couple of minutes.
  2. Add celery stalks and pepper, saute them with onion for another 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Add tomato, water and bring it to boil. Reduce it to simmer until veggies are tender.
  4. Finely shred the cabbage, add it to the pot and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Add cabbage at the end. It will help cabbage to retain its nutritional values.
