Ingredients to make Vegetable biriyani in the microwave.

  • Basmati or jeera rice 1 cup
  • water 2 cups
  • carrot 1
  • Frozen peas 1/4 cup
  • Beans 2
  • onion 1 big
  • green chillies 2
  • garlic paste 1 tsp
  • chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala 3 pinches
  • Whole garam masala like cardamom 4,clove 4,cinnamon 1 stick
  • turmeric
  • salt
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • ghee 1tsp
  • coriander leaves & mint leaves 1/2 cup.

How to make Vegetable biriyani in the microwave.

  1. 1)Soak rice for 1/ 2 an hour. 2.)Chop all veg, onion& chillies.
  2. 3)Take a micro proof bowl,put oil ,whole spices & garlic paste.micro for 1 min. Remove. 4) Then add all the other ingredients along with 2 cups of water. Stir well. 5)Put in microwave & cook on High ,for 20 min. 6)Leave it there for 5 more min. Then take out.
  3. 7)add 1 tsp of ghee & stir well. 8)Serve hot.

My Tip:

You can add potato,cauliflower, or any vegetables, in this dish. But I prefer spiced rice with some veg.
