Diet Gobi Manchurian

Ingredients to make Diet Gobi Manchurian

  • Cauliflower -1 medium size
  • Onion -1 big size
  • Bell pepper -1
  • Oil -2 tsp
  • Red chilli Powder -1 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala -1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Tomato Paste -1 tsp
  • Ketchup -2 tsp
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves - for garnish

How to make Diet Gobi Manchurian

  1. *First chop the cauliflower in medium size florets.wash and keep it aside.Cut the Bell pepper and onion into big chunks.
  2. Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai add the Tomato paste+Cauliflower florets+Salt+Red chilli powder+Turmeric Powder+Garam masala. Mix it well.Cover it with a lid and cook it in a medium flame.Stir in between them.
  3. No need to add to water to it.The water content in cauliflower is enough to cook.
  4. In another Kadai heat remaining oil add the chunk Onion and Bell pepper.Saute it for 2-3 mins and keep it aside.
  5. Once the cauliflower is cooked add the ketchup and sauted onion and bell pepper.Mix it well and cook it for 2 mins.Switch off the flame.Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
  6. Now the manchurian is ready to serve !!
My Tip: *Dont blanch the cauliflower in hot water before cooking else the manchurian will be soggy. *No need to add water in cauliflower while cooking,the water content in cauliflower is enough to cook.
