Moong salad with veggies and fruits

Ingredients to make Moong salad with veggies and fruits

  • green gram whole soaked overnight and Steamed/. 1 1/2 cup / Chole , / black chana/ moth
  • onion 2
  • tomato 2
  • carrot grated (2).
  • cabbage finely chopped 1/2 cup
  • Pears 2 / Apple/ pomegranate / musk melon.
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
  • Salt, pepper to taste
  • Five spice powder ( for flavour )
  • Olive oil / butter ( optional ).
  • Roasted sesame seeds / Chia seeds 1 tsp
  • Roasted ground nuts ( optional ). 1 tbsp

How to make Moong salad with veggies and fruits

  1. Chop onions and tomato.
  2. Mix all veggies and add Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Saute steamed Green grams in butter or olive oil ( optional ).
  4. Add Salt , pepper, Sesame seeds / Chia seeds.
  5. Mix all vegges and Pear ( chopped )/ any fruit of your choice from above mentioned.
  6. Add Lime juice and 5 Spice powder. Garnish with coriander leaves
  7. Enjoy with Homemade Khakhra and 2 glass of Butter milk seasoned with salt and Zeera.

My Tip:

You can make changes in Pulses to avoid boredom of same taste. Also you can add a different fruit every day. Instead of Red you can add white chilli powder and can add Zeera and other seasonings of your choice. Sometimes you can add Paneer ( homemade ).
