Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled rice 2 cups
  2. Few curry leaves
  3. Urad dal 1 spn
  4. Chana dal 1 spn
  5. Peanuts 1/4 cup
  6. Hing 1/4 tspn
  7. Turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
  8. Mustard seeds 1 spn
  9. Oil 2 spn
  10. Ghee 2 -3 tspn
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Whole red chillies 2
  13. Finely chopped green chillies 2
  14. Coriander 2 spn
  15. Juice of 2 lemons

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice by adding salt. When cooked cool it, pour in half of the lemon juice and toss it.
  2. Take a pan, add oil, add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal. Fry it til dal becomes brown, now add whole red chillies, peanuts and curry leaves.
  3. Add hing and turmeric powder, add rice. Mix it. Now add left lemon juice, coariander and green chillies. Mix properly.
  4. Serve hot with raita or curd or with any gravy.
