ABOUT Ramen RECIPE

This popular soupy noodle is a beautiful and tasty textured dish that everyone loves.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 450 grams pork
  2. 255 grams noodles (fresh angel hair)
  3. 3 cloves garlic
  4. 50 grams ginger thinly sliced
  5. Handful of spring onions
  6. 2 tablespoon sake
  7. 60 ml soya sauce
  8. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Topping Ingredients:
  11. Handful of bean sprouts
  12. 2-3 stalks of spring onion finely sliced
  13. 2-3 boiled eggs cut in halves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the pork, rub salt in it thoroughly. Marinate this overnight or for 2-3 hours before cooking.
  2. Take a pot, pour in water along with the ginger, garlic, spring onions and marinated pork. Bring this mixture to a boil.
  3. Skim the fat off the boiling stew while it is getting cooked. Then lower the heat and let it simmer and cook for 1-2 hours. This procedure can be done beforehand.
  4. Once cooked, let the broth cool, then strain and remove the pork. Slice the meat into slices and keep aside to use as a topping.
  5. Keep the boiled eggs, bean sprouts, and spring onions, toppings ready.
  6. Pour the pork broth in a pot, pour in the soya sauce, sake, sesame oil and salt according to taste. Let this simmer and cook.
  7. In the meantime, boil water in a pot, add in the fresh angel hair noodles. Cook this for 30 seconds and strain instantly.
  8. Next, divide the noodles into bowls and pour the soup on top of the noodles.
  9. Arrange the toppings- bean sprouts, sliced pork, boiled eggs and spring onions.
  10. Serve immediately to enjoy it at its best.

what can be used instead of Sake?? it will not be available in Guwahati.
