Koshimbir/Salad

Ingredients to make Koshimbir/Salad

  • tomatoes 2 medium sized chopped
  • radish grated 1 medium cup
  • Season's carrot grated 1 medium cup
  • cabbage grated 1 medium cup
  • cucumber grated 1 medium cup
  • Green chilli chopped 1
  • coriander leaves chopped 2 tea spoons
  • Roasted peanut's powder 2 table spoons
  • For tempering-
  • Oil 1 tea spoon
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tea spoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tea spoon
  • Red chili powder 1/4 tea spoon
  • coriander powder 1 tea spoon
  • hing a pinch
  • Sugar 1/2 tea spoon
  • salt as per taste

How to make Koshimbir/Salad

  1. In a bowl mix all veggies well.
  2. Add salt , sugar and peanut powder.
  3. For tempering heat oil in a small wok.
  4. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder one by one
  5. Add this tadka to the mixed veggies.
  6. Mix well, garnish and serve.

My Tip:

You can add any other veggies of your choice such as Cauliflower, spinach.. etc.
