ABOUT Paneer stuffed atta buns RECIPE

Its a healthy combination of whole wheat and paneer.Good for diet also.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat atta 3 cups
  2. Skimmed milk 1 cup
  3. Honey 2 tabspoon
  4. Salt 1/2 tspoon
  5. Dry active yeast 2 tspoon
  6. Fine chopped garlic 1 tspoon
  7. Warm water 1 cup
  8. Oil/butter 1 tabspoon
  9. Milk for brushing
  10. For Filling-
  11. Mashed paneer 1 cup
  12. Onion chopped 1
  13. Green Chilli chopped 1
  14. Chopped capcicum 2tablespoons
  15. Cumin 1/4 tspoon
  16. Turmeric powder 1/4 tspoon
  17. Garam masala 1/2 tspoon
  18. Oil 1/2 tspoon
  19. Salt as per taste
  20. Tomato sauce 1 tablespoon
  21. Chopped coriander 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. For making dough-
  2. Warm milk in microwave for 40 sec, add honey into it.Add 2 spoon dry active yeast and mix well.
  3. Put the yeast mixture for activation. After Approx 10 mins bubbles will be seen in the yeast mix.
  4. Now in a big bowl take atta,salt, oil and chopped garlic.Mix well .
  5. Now make a well in the atta mix and add yeast mix to it. Mix well and knead.
  6. Now add little little water and knead till we get a very soft dough.
  7. Now grease and dust a big bowl and put the dough in it.Cover the bowl and let it rest for 1 hour at warm place.It should get double in size.
  8. Filling-
  9. Take a non stick pan and add oil on a low medium flame.
  10. Put cumin seed in the pan and saute for few seconds. Add onion and chilli into this.Add turmeric and garam masala.
  11. Now saute it for 2-3 minutes till onion gets pink.Add capsicum and saute for few minutes.
  12. Add salt and tomato sauce in this and mix well.Now add paneer in it and saute for 2 minutes.Add chopped coriander and mix well.Switch off the flame.
  13. Now take the dough and punch it to remove air in it. Roll it on your work board in a cylindrical form. Cut into 8 equal part with knife.
  14. Also divide the filling mixture into 8 parts. Made small round balls of dough and fill mixture into it and again roll it in round shape.
  15. Arrange these balls on the greased baking tray with a little gap between them.Cover the tray and put in a warm place for 30 minutes for rising.
  16. Put the tray at 180°c in a preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes.After 20 minutes give them a milk bath for golden crust.
