How to make Paneer stuffed atta buns

  1. For making dough-
  2. Warm milk in microwave for 40 sec, add honey into it.Add 2 spoon dry active yeast and mix well.
  3. Put the yeast mixture for activation. After Approx 10 mins bubbles will be seen in the yeast mix.
  4. Now in a big bowl take atta, salt, oil and chopped garlic.Mix well .
  5. Now make a well in the atta mix and add yeast mix to it. Mix well and knead.
  6. Now add little little water and knead till we get a very soft dough.
  7. Now grease and dust a big bowl and put the dough in it.Cover the bowl and let it rest for 1 hour at warm place. It should get double in size.
  8. Filling-
  9. Take a non stick pan and add oil on a low medium flame.
  10. Put cumin seed in the pan and saute for few seconds. Add onion and chilli into this.Add turmeric and garam masala.
  11. Now saute it for 2-3 minutes till onion gets pink.Add capsicum and saute for few minutes.
  12. Add salt and tomato sauce in this and mix well. Now add paneer in it and saute for 2 minutes.Add chopped coriander and mix well.Switch off the flame.
  13. Now take the dough and punch it to remove air in it. Roll it on your work board in a cylindrical form. Cut into 8 equal part with knife.
  14. Also divide the filling mixture into 8 parts. Made small round balls of dough and fill mixture into it and again roll it in round shape.
  15. Arrange these balls on the greased baking tray with a little gap between them.Cover the tray and put in a warm place for 30 minutes for rising.
  16. Put the tray at 180°c in a preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes. After 20 minutes give them a milk bath for golden crust.

My Tip:

Keep on checking after 25 minutes if they are done or not.As time may vary as per your oven.If not done put them back for few minutes.I baked them in micro convection mode. Also once baked ,brush them with milk or butter immediately for softer upper crust.
